WorkPad of the Month – 66-67 Newman Street
Welcome to 66-67 Newman Street – the newest addition to WorkPad’s growing portfolio of flexible office space in London!
To celebrate and properly welcome Newman Street to the WorkPad family, we wanted to give you a sneak peak into what it’s like to work here.
And, what better way to show it off than making it our WorkPad of the month? Scroll down to find out everything you need to know!
Like all of our office spaces, Newman Street benefits from a central location.
Running south towards the Soho side of Fitzrovia, it’s your quintessential London street – overshadowed by the iconic BT Tower.
It’s a modern and progressive corner of the city, where nothing feels too far away. With Soho and Mayfair on your doorstep and nearby access to tube stations like Tottenham Court Road, Goodge Street and Oxford Circus – getting across the city for commuting or other business purposes is never a problem.
Newman Street is a one-way street just off Oxford Street. This means that while the street benefits from a convenient central location, it still remains one of the quieter roads in the area.
By London standards – that’s a bonus!
In terms of the Fitzrovia area – it’s a district that mixes the upmarket with the bohemian. It’s not just a great place to work, but it’s a popular place to live also – with many modern residential complexes dotted around.
It’s probably a big reason why office space in Fitzrovia is such a desired commodity. It’s no surprise that there is such a prominent media presence here with BT and also with the BBC at Broadcasting House.
Outside of work, there’s an endless list of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to explore as you take in everything this area has to offer.
What facilities are available here?
Newman Street showcases high-end and modern workspaces to suit both large and small-scale businesses alike.
It’s a much larger building than some of the other sites where we offer flexible office space. With up to 6 office suites per floor, each separated by a sleek frosted glass partitioning – it provides a personal, discreet area to work, whilst still maintaining an inclusive feel for all tenants.
It’s therefore easy to see why this place is appealing for companies of all sizes. From established companies to small and medium enterprises working in PR, marketing, tech and media (essentially all things digital) it’s an ideal place to set up a base you’ll be proud to work in every day.
Across the entire building – Newman Street has a capacity of 325 desks.
Each individual office suite ranges from 5 desks to 35 desks – so again, the building caters for large groups of colleagues and smaller companies.
Beyond the office suites themselves – the Newman Street building has its own unique characteristics that make it a unique place to work. WIth expansive breakout rooms where you can take time to regroup or even hold meetings, there’s more to the place than 325 desks. It’s a creative office space that suits agile businesses that like to do things differently.
If you’d rather hold your meetings in a more formal and professional environment, there are 3 meeting rooms that every tenant is free to use. Unlike our other offices, there’s even an on-site receptionist to greet you, or even any guests you invite as they come through the door.
However, Newman Street still includes all the same amazing benefits you get from Workpad’s other London offices to rent.
It’s fully furnished throughout – and well-looked after thanks to our in-house maintenance team and helpful IT support who are highly responsive to any technical concerns tenants have during their time.
Newman Street also benefits from super-fast fibre internet you can rely on – with a dedicated and secure connection.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be that great if it didn’t have a kitchen to complete the building!
With all inclusive and flexible contracts – why not get in touch with us right now? We’d love to chat to you about our newest office…
